Brief Summary of Position Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Specialist at Cleaveland/Price plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of quality excellence by collaborating with leadership and employees to enforce adherence to quality standards and documentation across all organizational functions. This position is responsible for developing and implementing standardized quality policies, processes, and procedures, while also overseeing training initiatives to ensure competency within job roles. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Specialist maintains and enhances the Quality Management System and leads the corrective action program to continuously improve product quality and operational efficiency. Through proactive education, training, and accountability measures, this role contributes to the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services, aligning with Cleaveland/Price's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.Essential Functions:

Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Established proficiency in mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO Standards and quality control procedures, and techniques.
- Ability to comprehend and reference a range of electrical/electronic/mechanical products/processes.
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards.
- Verified verbal and written communication skills.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Competency with Quality Management Systems or related systems/software.
Credentials, certifications & Industry-Specific Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience/certification.
- Ability to demonstrate required proficiency level/competency to successfully perform job.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Physical Requirements
- Frequently and regularly required to walk, stand, reach and bend; talk, hear and see; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects; lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30lbs pounds; regularly twisting and bending.
- Occasional requirement to drive (vehicles as well as fork trucks, cherry pickers, and high lifts etc.);use hands and wrists, forearms and grasp for items constantly throughout the day
- Occasional twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, crawling, kneeling, reaching, stretching, climbing, and balancing may be required to complete tasks.
- Requires concentration, accuracy, and focused mental effort while multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment.
- Frequent use of computer and office equipment in a professional setting -may require long periods of seated or still concentration.
- Standard personal protective equipment (PPE) required while on the shop floor or in other work area where mandated (i.e. steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and/or other applicable PPE).
